Eagle

 

An eagle fish’s for salmon,

circles the sky searching-and then,

diving with purpose, with young to feed,

cares not for danger, increases her speed,

 

wings flared out, talons exposed,

snatches the prize, the cycle unfolds,

away to the nest, duty is done,

 rest for a bit, start another run.
